Yale, Moderna, and NVIDIA Harness Quantum Computing for Drug Discovery

A joint research paper by NVIDIA, Moderna, and Yale explores how quantum machine learning (QML) techniques could enhance drug discovery by improving molecular property predictions. The study highlights the use of GPU-accelerated simulations, particularly through NVIDIA’s CUDA-Q platform, to simulate quantum neural networks and their potential in streamlining complex pharmaceutical tasks. By utilizing parallel quantum processing unit (QPU) simulations, researchers can better study real-world applications of quantum computing.
